Jenny’s Sacramento Maternity Session
Baby #2 On the Way!
I am so happy to share that this beautiful mom has another little one on the way! Yay!
When Jenny reached out to me to tell me about her daughter, Charlee was on the way, I was floored! I love all things involved with the journey of Motherhood, and it is an honor to have been asked to capture another milestone for her.
Jenny has another little one named David, and he is one of the sweetest and most playful one-year-olds I’ve met. I was honored to capture both Jenny’s first maternity and newborn session. It’s exciting to be able to capture this wonderful growing family again. And Jenny is an absolutely wonderful mom. So I know that these littles have a wonderful future in store for them, and I’m sure (as Jenny hopes) they will be the best of friends to each other as they grow.
Baby Details
For Charlee Ann’s nursery theme, Jenny and Jared decided on a floral theme with Disney’s Tinkerbell and Peter Pan as a nostalgic accent.
Del Paso Park
I typically like to start my sessions that take place at or around Del Paso Park, on this little road. I have my clients meet me at a close family member’s home and we begin shooting.
This is actually a private road, but since we know and love the owners, they are happy to let us use it during our sessions.
You’ll notice that we accidentally achieved an all seasons theme through her clothes during this session. Happy accidents are always welcome.
Her first dress is a lovely pink/mauve. It’s best to find dresses for maternity sessions that have stretch and that you are comfortable in.
*You can find the following three dresses available to borrow in my client closet.
The second dress is a beautiful Yellow tulip style dress with off-shoulder sleeves. What I love about this one is how feminine it frames Jenny’s bump and how much warmth it brings to her skin too.
The way the natural light of the sunset comes through too, was so so so pretty.
The third change we did for both Jenny and her little David.
Jenny tried on and ended up loving this white Calvin Klein dress with feminine sleeves that frame the tummy nicely when holding a third trimester belly.
The fourth dress we chose is a beautiful full length red maternity dress with a billowing skirt.
There’s a fun little gif here of Jenny and Dev, where Dev is tossing her skirt in the air and then YEETING himself out of the frame. ;D I’m not one to usually emote in a blog, but we have not stopped laughing about it whenever we catch a glimpse. Love it! You can also see the moment after of the image fully processed of the skirt still in the air below too.
Shout out to Jenny for continuing to come back to me time and time again. It’s clients like her and her family that make this job so joyful!
Please look forward to seeing her upcoming Newborn session too in a few weeks. We’re excited to greet little Charlee Ann when she makes her debut. <3
