FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you have insurance?
01
Yes! For our gear and for liability on location. No matter where your photos take us, we'll be good to go!
How much does it cost to travel to our wedding?
02
We include travel within the Northern California and Bay Area in our wedding packages. If your wedding is outside of the area, no worries, I can factor that into your package for you. You do not need to worry or stress about researching all of those details on top of planning your day.
Do you travel within the US for other Sessions besides Weddings?
03
You bet! I love traveling. I adore capturing all moments from portraits, to engagement/pre-wedding sessions or even boudoir and documentary newborn sessions... Send me an e-mail and I can get your session on the calendar! I do my best to try and stack sessions on top of currently planned trips, this helps keep costs down.
Do you shoot courthouse weddings and adventure elopements?
04
Yes! I do! Your wants and needs for your intimate ceremony are important! I will make you a custom package based on the details of your existing plans. Need help planning? I've got you!
How many photos do we get and what is the turnaround time?
05
Sessions: Image amount varies. I have two main session packages, depending on your wants and needs I will make a recommendation for the session that is the best for you. Turn around times for sessions are typically two weeks.
Weddings: My weddings are ALL-INCLUSIVE when it comes to images. You read this right. Digitals are included!

What are engagement or portrait sessions like?
Engagement and portrait sessions are about capturing your love in its most authentic form.
I know that it can feel strange to get in front of a camera, especially if you don’t really know the person behind it. I make a point to spend time getting to know my couples, both before and during our session, so that we can work together as naturally as possible. My goal is to have you feeling calm in front of the camera & by the end of our session (it usually only takes 5 minutes before couples get used to me and my camera!) my couples feel completely relaxed & even have fun.
What should I wear to the engagement session?
07
Great question! I encourage all my clients to wear something comfortable, preferably no large prints or small prints. Very small prints can sometimes give the illusion there is more space on your body when there isn't.
Like your wedding day, engagement photos only happen once and it’s worth dressing up for! I usually suggest couples choose at least one formal outfit. Your second outfit can also be formal or could reflect your personality as individuals or as a couple - for example, favorite jerseys, college gear, etc. For more specific ideas, as well as photos of some of my favorite couple outfits and tips on what props to bring to your engagement session, download my engagement session style guide.
Do you travel outside of CA and the US for weddings?
08
Absolutely! I’m always down to travel, both throughout the U.S. and internationally. I am often traveling through Nevada and CA as well. Let's check my availability together and we can go over the details.
How do we BOOK you?
09
I require a non-refundable retainer of 50% to secure the date, along with a contract signed by both the Bride and the Groom. This is to ensure that as I'm turning away potential clients for your date, I'm already compensated and preparing for your day. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding day or session.
*I do have payment plans available for weddings for those who would like access to them. Everyone deserves beautiful photography.
